The recent International Food Exhibition (IFEX) and World Food Expo (WOFEX) were both successful as these continued to showcase culinary innovations, exquisite flavors, and gastronomic excellence from different brands all over the country. On May 10-12, the IFEX took place at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, Pasay City while the WOFEX happened on May 23-25 in SMX Convention Center Davao, SM Lanang, Davao City. Philippine Aslam Corporation was among the many exhibitors, capturing the attention of attendees with its high-quality vinegars, one of which is Sukang Tuba.
In Mindanao, Davao continues to be the venue of choice for trade shows and events. As a matter of fact, more than one million guests came for tourism, events and business in 2023. This year, which marks the 19th year of WOFEX in Davao, The Ultimate Food Show Experience continues to help in promoting and supporting the local food and beverage industry.
Together with Aslam’s sister company, Philippine Aminosan Corporation, it showcased the premium vinegars that already earned a loyal following both locally and internationally. Its participation in the World Food Expo marked a significant milestone, showcasing the company’s diverse range of vinegars to a global audience.
At the expo, Aslam presented its variants of vinegars, each reflecting the company’s dedication to quality and innovation. The offerings include:
-
- Coconut Tuba: This vinegar is made from the sap of coconut trees, boasting a mild sweetness and a tangy finish. It is widely known as Sukang Tuba and is mostly used in many Filipino recipes, because of its versatility in both cooking and as a condiment.
-
- Cane Vinegar: Its light, delicate flavor is produced from fermented sugarcane juice. It is also known as Sukang Puti. Many people love to use this for pickling vegetables and adding a subtle acidity to dishes.
-
- Sukang Iloko: this traditional Filipino vinegar is also made from sugarcane, and is produced through natural fermentation. It enhances the taste of various Filipino dishes, from adobo and paksiw to salads and dipping sauces.
Aside from Aslam’s high-quality vinegars, the company also offers toll packing to many businesses. In this service, Aslam provides customization in any brand’s vinegar packaging.
Throughout the expo, Aslam was able to captivate visitors, especially business owners and industry leaders. The company’s representatives were on hand to explain the production process, emphasizing the use of natural fermentation and local ingredients, which contribute to the distinct flavors and superior quality of the vinegars.
With Aslam’s vision to continually expand its reach, its participation in IFEX in Manila and WOFEX in Davao shows its dedication and commitment to meeting more business owners and helping more brands elevate their products’ quality. Aslam was not tagged as the leading vinegar manufacturer in the country for nothing. It continues to set a benchmark for excellence in the industry and will continue to leave a significant mark on the culinary world.
